t8r(tot) is shining like a Care Bear once again on his latest single “As I Live And Breathe.” If you are familiar with the spud, you’ll know exactly what this is all about. His groovy hip hop beats blent with spaced out synth-scapes, and suggestive vocal samples make these deep cuts a a crowd pleaser for any crate digger. The release comes complete with two reworked versions from Abstract Logic Recordings newcomers Variant, and $1 Bin. Their takes on his tune shows just what can happen when you get your hands dirty in an Ableton project. This new single on ALR from the Russian bass music producer Skunkshaft has hit the internet with a bang. This release consists of two dance floor smashers ripe for peak time. The tracks are on that heavy, electro, type vibe reminiscent of the mainstream dubstep sound that’s been grabbing the attention of djs, producers, and dancefloors all around the globe. “Break The Walls” by Skunkshaft is definitely worth taking a peek at on your favorite music download site.

ALR has had their eye on KRRS24 for quite a while now, and is proud to bring you his debut ep “Renegade Frequency.” This Chattanooga resident has set his bass cannon to face melt and is showing no mercy. Charlie P. and iONik are back at it again with a new single featuring the vocals of international model and musician Gin Cooley.  The original song was a bare acoustic singer/songwriter joint but now has been transformed into a full frequency ear tickler.   These guys took sledge hammer to the vocals to create a undeniable anthem for the summer.  Charlie’s original version is an epic spine chiller that takes you from top to bottom all in five melodic minutes.  The track took on a whole new life after iONik got his hands on it.  His remix still stays true to the original while completely swaggin out the vibe on a Colorado tip.  You’re gonna wanna make some room in your crate for this one…

Up next on ALR is the combined forces Fast Nasty and Spooky Jones on their new ep “Hypno Roll.” This Knoxville duo is bringing the southern dubstep sound to the worldwide arena. These relatively new producers are coming up quick and it shows in the production value, and sound design of these tracks. “Hypno Roll” is laden with deep grimey bass, and snappy beats but still makes room for some moving musical moments. But make no mistake about it, the tunes on this ep are ready to rip dance floors all over the globe with a swag straight from the South East. Grab yourself a towel and some carpet cleaner cause you’re gonna need it.

Taste Tester made his first impression a few months ago with his disgusting remix of Charlie P’s, “Do You Feel Real.” Since then ALR has been patiently waiting for his debut ep: “The Battle of Atlanta.” We set the bar high for this 19 year old Atlanta based producer, and he surely surpassed every expectation. These tracks are riddled with surprises around every corner. This EP comes correct with completely original sound design, vocal collaborations with some of Atlanta’s underground hip hop artists, and combinations of truly unique elements spanning everything that is music. Although this album is different in many ways, it stays inside the lines of dubstep and electronic music making it very dj friendly or just an awesome listen.

The highly anticipated debut ep from Stereotonin has finally made it’s way to the masses… The Lazerfiend EP has a psychedelic hip hop vibe that is destine to be included in the soundtrack of your life. This collection of tunes is like a 15 minute stroll down a city street with the headphones blasting. Stereotonin’s deeply rooted hip hop vibes combined with space age sounds make this a solid example of an old school beat tape from the future. Heavy Machine enlisted a few of it’s soldiers to take a crack at the remix of a track off their previously released album: Subbrocck. The track “Run It For Me” has been mangled and twisted into 4 completely different, but equally dope versions by the likes of antiMatter, HD4ooo, Niko Prange, and Charlie P. All the tracks on this remix ep are full on dance floor smashers. It’s our opinion that every dj out there will like at least one if not all these joints. If you don’t know the dudes on this album it may be time to do a little research on the history. We will say that all of them make awesome music, and come from all different backgrounds of the dance music industry. This ep drops March 28th, 2011, so mark your calendars and get it while it’s fresh.
